Hey Frank,
You list an intercooler warranty but the stare 1 does not include a warranty. Is the intercooler available yet and/or can I use any intercooler I want? I also want to say thanks for what you have to for the aftermarket for this car.

Looks good, not really sure about the 50hp gain though with only 4-5psi.

Thanks man! Sorry, I messed up The intercooler is not yet available for this since we don't have the proper piping for it. I can send you the intercooler, but not the intercooler piping that you'll need...

twandamon - The Stage 3 and downpipe won't be able for a few more months. Thanks though By the way, we've sold over 20 kits so far.

Marc - Depending on supporting modifications, it's usually suggested that 1 PSI = 10 Horsepower. Therefore, with 4-5 PSI, you should be in the 40-50 HP Gain.

This kit is designed for the ecotec. However, we do have the same exact kit for the 2.2L available with the same pricing. E-mail us if you're interested: sales@maximumboost.net

I guess this is safe to run non intercooled. Also, have you installed this setup on a cobalt yet?

We've installed this kit on the 2.2L Ecotec Cavalier, but not the actual Cobalt yet. The Cavalier motor is exactly the same, and I have already confirmed from my distributor of the manifolds that the only difference is the fitting towards the firewall for the manifold and turbo. These manifolds have the T3 flange aimed down more so that it will clear the firewall with no issues. Also, the piping has the flange on it for the intake sensor...these are the only differences.

Thanks!

I doubt I can man...stupid, I know. We didn't get pictures or anything, and that customer's car is GONE. I need to find a test cobalt in our area...

If anyone's interested and in Florida, we'll give the kit to you for $500 OFF if you let us install it on your car

Deuce - Yes, if you get Stage 1, you can always upgrade. We don't charge too much for the parts seperately. By the way, our boost gauges are only $50 extra

If you're interested in the kit, e-mail me. I'd be more than happy to work on the price for you: sales@maximumboost.net

thats a pretty good price, especially, shipped, and 4-5 psi would be good for someone wanting maximum hp from a low $ power adder. I think I'll wait to see what kind of numbers both hp and $ that can come from the stage 3. Until that comes out though great job, and thanks for coming out with products for the cobalt.

So are you running the piping from the turbo directly to the Throttle body?

I would not buy any product that has yet to be tested on a Cobalt. Please do us all a favor (including yourself) and test the kit on the Cobalt before you advertise it for sale!
