The first gen camaros are the badest camaros ever built. The 2010 just doesnt do it for me. I know alot of first gen owners that give it the face palm. I like the split bumper 70-73 although 71 was the last year for Muscle car generation. Oh and I see those green 68 and 69 were they low mile cars? The old saying goes only the green survive.

thats funny cause i had a 1979 Berlinetta w/ a 355, Munci 4spd... sadly only 3.42 gears in the back made for a nice cruiser...
Sold though..

my brother has an 8sec prostreet 69.. and just bought another 69 "RS/SS"... the dirty bastard

1980 would have come with a Borg Warner Super T10 or a Saginaw, but mine has a rebuilt aluminum-cased M21 swapped into it.

thats what I thought, the 82 we just traded has a borg warner T10 4 spd. The muncie is a bad ass tranny though! Thats old school right there.

why the 409? why not a 396 or 427? The 409 is early muscle car.

I don't think he means 409 as in the W-headed early-'60s big block, I think he means it as a bored 400 small-block.
