I think, with all the recent bullcrap that alot of people have been pulling lately. (I myself am guilty of starting some fights.) that if it is possible, to allow the creator of a thread the ability to delete posts in their thread if it is causing a problem or provoking a fight.

I dont know if it is possible to do that, but its certainly something to look into.

 

i see that getting taken WAY out of hand by members. they'll delete any post from anyone they don't like. i don't think it's a good idea. i understand the concept though

 

we really dont need that.. the mods do a good enough job for us.. just report it and they will be there right away...

That is a horrible idea; basically everyone would have free reign over the information in there threads. It would get abused all the time and people would be deleting posts left and right because they don't agree with them or like them or whatever. I think we (moderators) do a pretty decent job of putting out the major fires around here, but there is so much on this forum that sometimes we need some help from the members and that is what the "Report A Post" icon is for.
