OEM charghing pipes = POS
Well i am driving home and i clutch in and i hear this horible noise from under the hood. So i go up to the dealer and they tell me i cracked my charging pipes but wouldn't this of thrown a code. They said it broke because it bounced off the A/C lines.

true. Just order some hahn intercooler piping from www.turbotechracing.com and call it a day
synapse turbo charge piping= $499.00
hahn charge piping= 469.00
hahn = ftw
better quality, dyno tested, and will support their aftermarket billet BOV that will be coming out soon and won;t cause any issues

Your options:
-Hahn
-Synapse Turbo
-Clear Image Automotive( multiple designs)
-Dejon powerhouse
First 2 listed are mainstream vendors and are a little bit pricey. As for the other 2 listed are very affordable.

Anyone know if the HHR, Solstice, and Sky guys have the same problems with the OEM piping?
I'd really like to replace the piping, but I'm trying to hold out for the GM performance kit to make sure that there won't be any issues with the kit and the aftermarket products already available. For instance, if the Cobalt kit does have a CAI (like some have speculated), I want to make sure I don't buy anything that will not work with this. I'll probably upgrade the piping after the kit is out and on my car.

For the most part, aftermarket intercooler piping follows the stock piping routes. the only difference is the hot side piping that runs on top of the engine may be a bit different, but i have confidence that gm is not going to throw their intake on top of the engine, so as far as i see, not intercooler piping is going to interfere with GM's stage kit and possible intake
