Why can't people believe an ss/tc runs 13.5 stock?
Ohhh my, most of the LNF guys have no clue about their cars what so ever.......haha 300whp on a tune, just wait till that POS k04 takes a crap on ya after 10-20 thousand miles. Ya lets see these cars make some good'ol reliable power. SRT-4's have a stronger motor and tranny can make 500+whp on stock internals and has been proven time and time again, also can be much much faster, an intake and Diablo tune for an srt-4 neon is close to 300whp, the LNF is not the only car producing big tune numbers. This just shows alot of the LNF guys are new to the whole car scene in general cause they dont know jack ****.

Personally I don't agree with a bone stock the way it comes from factory SS/TC running a 13.2 IMO, I could see a SS/TC running a 13.35-13.4 under a perfect launch, perfect track prep, perfect weather, and perfect driving. Hell, bone stock I was able to trap 100mph in my SS/SC and the SS/TC defiantly has more ***** stock for stock.

Lol I missed a lot in one day. I'm recovering from laser eye surgery but I can see TEH INTERNETS again! And of course I come back to good ol' css.net arguments. How a thread goes from disbelievers in other car communities to conversations about EVO's, I'll never know. lol, but whatever.
Slowstang, if they call bs send them my youtube vid. If they're still being stubborn, after this summer we'll have a lot more proof for them when all the the '09 LNF owners hit the track and the '08 owners have more chances to better their times.
I'd love some company at Cayuga if you're down. Have we met in person btw? I don't keep track of usernames vs real names. Kevin would want to come also, so the 3 of us plus anyone else can join us.

They are denying it because only two people have done it, and there are a shiatload of 14.3-15.0's out there.
In my 97 Cobra, the best time I have ever gotten was a 13.47@103.5 with a 2.0 60ft.
I havent been to the drag strip in a couple of years because I got bored of taking the Cobra there, but I deffinately am going to go for a couple of times this season just to see if I can get a mid 13 stock out of this thing.
MARIN, when are you planning your first trip of the year? I will come with.
and on edit: After this summer, there wont be any doubts anymore once more and more people start turning in those times.

Be there... or be square. The $1000 would be plenty enough to cover your trip costs, as well as how much you'd lose if you have to call off work... that is, if you win.
