how hard is it to learn to tune

I am very good with computers not sure if that matters or not but i would like to purchase my own copy of HPtuners and learn to tune myself so i dont have to travel when i get new parts. I would also like to have a super safe tune and a race tune i can switch between at my demand. Where do i start to learn how to tune using hptuners. I have no knowledge of tuning right now besides watching zspeed tune my car

It's not difficult, but it's ceratinly not easy. It takes practice, trial, practice, and trial.
HPTuners has a forum on their website, and they can offer some help there also.

This guy is dead on I just got back from EFI university and it was worth every penny. Tuning is a huge learning curve read as much as possible then start slow making only a minor as changes as possible if you go into chaging this and that right away 99% chance your goonna mess up up your stock ECU. Lucky for you HPtuners is a very easy to use software so there isnt much learning curve there very upfront only problem is that it only flashes your stock ECU meaning it does have its limitations. As long as your car is not on any carzy turbo setup you are fine and good to go with HPtuners! If you have any questions E-mail me at rstuning@live.com

Sincerely,
Ryan
