your rod probably snapped cause you were bouncing off the fuel cutoff, under that much stress even the smallest vibration could cause that, much less losing fuel and getting it back (even though it probably felt perfectly smooth to you)

FAIL FAIL FAIL

The pull sounds identical to the 2-3 portion of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLgi4CDugR8

Which is clearly a 2-3-4-5 pull. So this is a 2-3 pull, making the end speed like 115... somewhere in that area.

Prove those were not 2nd and 3rd gears. You wanna come here saying your car is faster than a Z06 from 100-140 mph, you better have better evidence than a video which doesn't have enough wind noise and sounds identical to a 2-3 pull. You appear to be making well over 400 hp with the M62 which isn't too common... ever hear of the statement "if something is too good to be true it probably is?"

That's pretty simple... let's see a video of him simply on the highway. People on the highways don't go to 40 mph normally... By looking at the people around him and his speedo, this will be so easy to tell if he has a trick! Until I see a sooooo simple video like that, to me, his actual video doesn't show the truth at all for his acceleration!

fail me all you want but i did 155 stock...it isnt hard but unlike the vid you need alot of space to get that fast. But like i said it took me about 3 miles on a stock motor to hit 155. Why do we modify our cars if people are gonna just call people retarded for enjoying speed. I'm sure nobody wants to kill someone or die. I know we are all smarter than that. I'm sure he was in control of his vehicle with no traffic around or what not. And so what if he switched the mph to kph. It got everyone talking about it so it was probably mission accomplished

Modifying cars has nothing to do with top speed with these cars, anything over 150mph on these cars can not be achieved at any normal track, thats why people are calling this out as a retarded post. These are not the type of cars to compete for top speed, yes lots of people have sampled out top speed but thats something you keep to yourself no blab it off on the internet like a 16 year old by making a thread about it....END THREAD

I understand and prolly will never again do a top speed run it is just interesting to know what these cars are capable of. I know the suspensions were designed and tested on Nurburgring. These cars are built for handling which is why i can't figure out the point in drag racing. I prefer road courses anyway just never have done it. I know that speed kills just was trying to look at it a different way.
