General Inquiry: Procharging a Cobalt
no new pump is needed you need new injectors, piping, bracket, FMIC, and blower are needed, bov or bypass valve. and some other misc things
i did an install in a 2.2 that was basically stock otherwise.. you can do it on a stock car you just wont get as big of gains
damn you rage lol i was hoping i had a tester in pa to do this lol

It's always been my dream to have a 10-second street driven car. Why? because most supercars do low 11's. So, if I can trip the lights at 10.6, I'm spanking Lambo's and making the fastest production Ferrari cry.
So, that's why I'm specifically seeking out 10's, that's as high of an ET I can have and still meet my goal, and I'd say it'd be easier to make a 10-second car street legal than an 9-second. So, it's not that I won't try for lower one day, just not right away.
Then there is this one which reflects my build more accurately, although we are looking at only 1,000hp at the back wheels....

I like the idea of spanking supercars.

and i'd probably only have to push like 5-6 psi on that to amount to 11 psi on the c1 lol
I will be married when this all goes down, yes. But she seems to be very supportive. She surprisingly understands the difference between a hobby and a passion/dream. And even though others can only comprehend a car as being only a means to get from point A to point B, she understands, that what is relevant is how it is viewed in my eyes. And she knows it's a huge dream of mine. As big as an Astronaut wanting to get to the moon one day. It's just what I'm passionate about.

if you wanted to go straight to the ss/sc intake manifold picture that but with it connecting to the manifold instead of going down into the front of the car lol
and as far as the piping on that setup.. well that wasn't optimal at all lol

we'd prefer to have it be close to someone that has it installed so they can help since they kinda know what they're doing lol, and after checking you're only 1:45 -2 hrs from me so you would be close enough for me to help
NewBaltOnTheBlock
the piping wasn't too hard it was measure twice cut once and leave more then you need lol when i did m y test fitment i cut all the piping and installed everything in like 5 hours
when i did the actual install it took about 5 hours because i changed some things and had to do injectors plugs and a few other things..
tuning vince at trifecta did, and he didn't think it was too bad
They have incredible gains that rival turbocharged cars on stock motors (usually 50-60% gains), for usually less than the cost of a turbo kit. They have better heat efficiency than turbos too. So, basically, the instant torque of a supercharger, without the heat soak.

he said rival.. ie give a challange to
and it doesnt take much hp to spin the procharger... i can spin it easily with my hand...
procharers DO have cooler intake charges and since they have they're own oil supply (usually) are easier to install
they DONT have instant torque (supposedly rotrex blowers have more low end torque) but they do have a great top end and with tuning and the right setup can have decent low end torque you're not going to have the low end of an m62 but you will have a top end similar to a turbo car
