THe official chevy cruze annoucement
i think that if they ever make a ss version with the LNF that all you people saying, you wouldn't buy it, would probably change your mind. the interior looks very sexy and the exterior looks more like a sports sedan but in ss trim i would think it would look a lot more aggressive.
chevy is stopping making the cobalt due to its motors origin. Saab owns the rights to the ecotec motor. And with gm no longer owning saab, thanks to the resecion.Thats why no more cobalt. The cruze is still going to have a pretty good motor. There using a holden (australian gm) 1.8l. And i think i had heard rumors about a turbo option.

You shouldn't post things when you don't know what you're talking about.
Step away from the keyboard and learn something. Please.

I don't care about the motor, or if that's true or not, doesn't matter to me really. No amount of reasoning would make me happy about the departure of the cobalt.
Cruze is ugly
Cobalt is Hot as hell

My source- http://www.holdencampaign.com.au/cruze/#/home
but i hear you. still not going to buy one.
thanks for explaining i was mis-informed on the ecotec thing. But holden does make a holden cruze. Which is the same body and size as the chevy cruze. They also use a 1.8l motor that makes the same specs as the chevy cruze. Now im just wondering were chevy is getting there 1.4t from since holden uses a 2.0t diesel as a second option not a 1.4l.

From the article
"...we're not ashamed to say it – we like it. Of course, we're comparing it to the current small car in GM's lineup, the Cobalt, so the bar is pretty low."
Ouch.
