fuel pump limit

how large of injectors can the stock fuel pump support?

Depends. You could run 80s no problem, but if you're on a Harrop with a 7500rpm redline, you'll be maxing it out for sure.

Listen REAL close to what these two say on this subject. Both are running TVS with 1000cc injectors IIRC so they have some recent experience with teh pumps limit.

area just did something to his fuel pump or system, to help fix it for awhile.. didnt say what it was...any clues

I'm keeping the m62 for now anyways. I was thinking of running e85 and dropping the pulley size.

Yes 80's with E85. With pump gas 60's are fine.

I just went to a return system and Walbro 255hp pump. Even with a base pressure of ~45psi, meaning around 70psi by redline, I am almost maxing out the 1000cc injectors commanding a .78 lambda. E85 is hungry for volume lol. The stock pump would shit out around 6000rpm, but that's because it's flowing at 58psi and dropping steadily from there. I can't say what it would do if asked for more pressure. I imagine it would just explode lol.
