is this right ???

ok i came acrost the throttle body addapter plate for the le5.. from what im getting out of it i basicly just bolt that on with the stock or an upgraded throttlebody for the lsj 2.0 supercharged.. if this is true is it only for supercharged applications .. if not can i use the ls4 throttlebody..or should i go with a stock lsj tb. and would i need a tune...

Yes it will require a tune, using the LS4 throttle body would require you to bore out the adapter plate and, to be honest, you aren't going to flow enough air to warrant using the LS4 TB on a N/A LE5. That adapter plate is for using the LSJ TB on an otherwise stock LE5 (non-supercharged).

I forgot to mention that using the LSJ or LS4 throttle body will require you to do some rewiring of the throttle body pigtail.

ZZP sells an adapter plate and a connector to connect an lsj throttle body to a 2.4 as long as it isnt an 8 wire one I believe.

And from what ive read it will not need a tune but you would probably benefit from a tune.

This will allow a 2.4L cobalt to bolt on a stock LSJ (2.0 supercharged) throttlebody onto their LE5 intake manifold.

The intake manifold on the 2.4L has a 66.5mm opening but the stock throttle body is only 64.6mm. This makes the throttle body a restriction to airflow. By using our adaptor plate, you can bolt an LSJ TB onto your intake. The LSJ TB is 67.4mm and our adaptor plate tapers this to match the intake manifold. The 10% larger TB setup will increase HP from 2-7 HP depending on how highly modified your car is.

Comes with:

*
Spacer plate with tapered hole
*
Wire harness adapter
*
4 stainless bolts
*
rubber o-ring

-Easy 10 minute plug and play install

-No PCM tuning required

I wouldn't waste money on a connector pigtail when all you have to do is swap around 4 wires...

Can anybody post a how-to for configuring the wiring?
