it was like 30 bucks, he said that would go into the cost of the powdercoating. So basically he just wanted to have a deposit down so that he wouldn't spend the money to buy it and I end up not getting my rims painted.

 

i am curious how the op got the red outilne

 

either the coater taped the line or vinyl fyi If you do it right you can clear powder coat over the vinyl and it would then be protected either way it looks nice for 300. I would have only been maybe 50 cheaper.

i could get mine done for free, the company i work for owns a powder coating place, but i dont trust them to do a good job, iv seen soom of their work. not very impressed

i always heard about people contemplating powder coating these rims and i wondered why, cause i thought stock they looked good. now i know why, those look so awesome!

heres my sport red.. flat black wheels.. Mine turned out great and it cost 185 for them to be sandblasted and then coated..

 

Damn.. I NEED to find a powdercoater close to me in NJ.

 

Mine look just like that but I painted mine myself. Cost me $12 to do LOL. Still holding up well one year later.

 

Im going Black with a Green lip on them. thats my plan anyways. lol!

 

hey jw but where did you get the center caps with the red chevy emblem?

 

prob a vinyl overlay, ive got them in white. They've held up pretty well, try housofgrafx.com
