intakes aren't "cheap". Expect to spend $200 or more.

Anything is good really as long as it is

1. not stainless steel(gets heat socked way way to easy)
2. has a good dry flow filter on it

That just my 2 cents

Hey just wondering why do you use stainless steel and not aluminum just wondering? I know ss will get heat soaked much easier then aluminum I am just curious.

Thanks,
Ryan

Every other intake will rub a hole through itself becuase the material is to soft. the heat soak is something that is so tiny in the mix of things it makes little to no difference in performance.

We made the intake so it would be the last intake you would have to put on your car and perform very well. Its a much better option then replacing your intake every couple of years becuase of holes in it

Get some rubber "U" door trim, and go around the hole in the fender, where the intake goes through. You wont wear a hole in the aluminum tube anymore, as the rubber "U" will protect it. You will need about 12" of this rubber "U" available at most all local auto parts stores.

Should be less than a $2 fix

really?!?! I guess I better check my cousins car tonight I didnt see any place hwere the inatke was rubbing against naything on the car but I will check tonight for sure. Thanks for the info that kinda angers me that no one made a intake that actually fits the Cobalt SS because if one is properely fitted it should never rub period.

Thanks,
Ryan

Thats only part of the problem, then you have fender bulge, the intake hitting the pcm, the door trim coming undone.

If your into wasting money on poor fitting products then you can take your pick there are tons out there.

However if you want to do it right, come to us. The intakes were made on an 05, 06, and 07 cobalt to ensure proper fitment for all years, crafted out of high qaulity t-304 stainless steel, tig welded, polished to an almost mirror finish. Supplied with stainless t-bolt clamps not worm clamps.

This intake took us a long time to develop and come to market so we could make it the best it could be, not try to produce it as quick as possible to make a buck.Thats the qaulity and piece of mind you get with us.
