Separate fuel cell suggestions, tips, tricks, pros, cons, hate it, love it?

so I'm ditching the meth on my hahn turbo set-up and I'm pondering around the idea of RG, with that being said here's what I'm looking at.

you may be thinking what are those for? well I'm going to go with dual tank set-up and tie into the factory fuel line and have the RG pump on a separate switch/relay.

this way i will have the accuracy of oct for my RG tune and i wont have to waste it while not using it. (+ i think it will be a cool project) the ultimate goal is to be able to run switchable tune on the fly like Vince does for lnf's but well see till then i could just flash tunes in and out, and make my RG tune drivable on pump gas if needed.

so what do you guys think?

what kind of ideas out there for tying into the stock line? i have a few but would like to hear whats out there

I'm gonna need a valve of some kind as well in order to prevent back flow from either pump while activated i assume.

is there a better pump out there for the RG and fuel cell portion? should i just run like a adjustable fpr and a external in line pump and tune for it on the RG tune?

That would be pretty badass to be able to switch back and forth from pump gas to race gas! I've seen some of your threads about your car and that thing is going to be a monster for sure! What kind of numbers are you shooting for?

ehh nothing too crazy, 400+ on RG i have a few things holding me back from huge numbers as far as turbo and cams but i like the driveability and over 400whp to me is getting into the pointless range on this platform.

i would either have to do a cnc head or cams or bigger turbo to get above 450whp

that would be sweet too, another 120-150mi

that would put you right at about 500mi range!

I thought of this as well. You might need to wire the stock pump into a switch too, and run some sort of check valve to keep the regular fuel from bleeding out.

for sure i'll be running a switchable relay, and a valve of some sort as mentioned in first post. but im looking for ideas or valves as far as hooking it up to the stock line and fittings.

i do know of a place that will make custom line and factory fittings but there little pricey usually about 100 buck per job and they were always small jobs. mine might be more.

I found some check valves that might work. Its been a while since I was thinking this through, but I think they would work jut fine. Not sure where I found them though. I thought it was JEGS, but I can't seem to find it again.

Yeah, I still wanna do this, maybe next summer, if I get around to my GT28 this winter.

Found some fuel check valves...

Aeromotive

Earl's

I'm not sure what size our fuel line is though. Ideally, I would like a Y with a check valve in it, then you could integrate that as your Y and as your valve.

Also, what size of fuel cell are you using?
