i cannot take these damn rattles anymore....i drive my car like a baby and every time i hit a bump i feel like the whole thing is gonna break into a billion pieces. Every which way i listen i hear rattles and vibrations and creaking. i wish it felt more solid

oh, besides the one i heard that sounds like an exhaust shield when i first fire her up in the morning

 

rattles come standard on cobalts lol

 

if you have warranty then get them fixed i have no rattles and have solid mounts also

Yeah, I think all cobalts have some rattles/squeeks... Mine does since day 1... That is what most cars get with using plastic.

my sunroof cover shield thingy squeaks. as i drive it will slide back and hair (half an inch) and squeak like crazy. so annoying. i shut it, it does i again. I shut it, does it again. lol

yeah those parts are no insulated at all. just plastic with air then metal. lol.

 

they're insulated with sheet metal!

ive also heard that someone's quarter panel was insulated with a empty can of soda. damn union workers.

 

lol. at least the door panels on a 07 have a round of cotton in them. my 05 didnt. i know because i got new panels in and they are build differently behind the scene
