dents in doors.

so when i first got my car my gf at the time was this really little girl about 5'1 100lbs soakin wet and she opened the door after i was dropping her off at home and it was so windy that day the wind took the door out of her hand and it slammed into this car and dinged the door edge then my ass went to the car wash and pulled up to the vacuum area in texas and the same **** happend cept it was a concrete wall. anyone know if i should take it to a body shop to have those dents smooved out or what should i do? im know im not the only one thats happend to so i need advice on the best course of action. its spring and will be summer when i get back to the states so im thinking about having the car detailed anyway and the inside steam cleaned for this years car show season.

also if anyone in texas does this i am willing to drive to you if you can help me out.

bump

You can have them fixed, but they don't pose any signifcant structural issues.

If it wasn't the edge of the door, I would suggest trying the old heat it up with a hairdryer then throw dry ice or spray an upturned can of compressed air to cause it to contract and hopefully pop out.
