there are a few 2.4 guys who have gone to the track

one guy I believe with just an intake pulled a 15.2
so I would assume that a stock 5 speed is just a hair slower

The problem in Mexico City is that we are around 2200 meters atltitude, I thing we are lossing closer to 20% of the hp´s aboit it.... on natural aspirateds (N/A)
Turbos engines doesn´t present this problem

A freakin' Lebaron beat you? Ouch! and an automaic to boot.

I think he might have been modded--although I don't know the specs from factory.

But they weren't anything but a 16 sec car here.

2.2L Turbo or 2.5L? HP?

Don't Laugh I had a Lebaron back in the day 2.2 turbo auto no intercooler [running 11-12psi] went to the pet store and got a air bubbler adjuster [yeh a $5.00 boost controler ] slapped a mustang K&N on it and ran 14.40's at 97 all day. The whole car with the geto mods cost me $500 bucks. I beet the bag out of it for about a yr then cracked two pistons, when the vac line blew off the waste gate racing a 94 RX7 I did win . LOL I just crack up thinking about my face when I pulled on that guy only to look at the boost gauge pined at 20psi.Then to hear the midgets in the motor with hammers when I stopped . LOL

Sorry I hijacked your thread but I'm sure I saw either MT or C&D run 15.1 that is a corrected time . You should run about 15.6-15.8 where you are 2200meters above sea level. Stock .

Yeh thats a Lebaron here in the US. I've seen one from Foward Motion run mid 13's . It all depends how much you want to spend .
