the other day i got off the high way looked in my mirrors to see if there was any cars to run and i saw nothing. the light turns green and i look again and noticed about two cars back and i saw the new hatchback sti. i know it was a sti cause it said sti in pink in the front. those cars are so nice it was like a dark grey lowerd and with dark grey rims. anyways he got on my ass and got into the other lane and punched it i was in second gear from a roll around fifty. so he kindaaaa gotta head start, then it was neck and neck and i shifted into third with of course no lift **** and it was like my car jumped a half car on him. i ended up slowing down around eighty mph but i was a realllllllllllly close race. i was shaking love the feeling of beating a fourty thousand awd car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the other hand i ran a 07 sti in the same spot a couple months ago and he had no cat, catback exaust, and a bov and lost by like a half car. i love our cars its like a sleeping giant but soon ppl will find out. also beat two gt mustangs and charger rt couple grs. this chevy is rediculous.

Not bad for a fairly stock car. I got turned down by a new STI, he didn't want to lose

 

We go to a weekly car meet in mansfield, ohio, and once the big guys with there v 8's see you make a few runs I get turned down all the time now, so I just tell the people that haven't been there before I am stock, and all my friends start laughing because the people think they are going to win then get destroyed. These cars with tunes are nuts.

 

yeah man, i have a tune on my SS/TC with all of hahns aftermarket parts, and its rediculous fast!! i love how hard it pulls now! pedal to the floor and i hit 22/23psi and this bad boy is gone! lol! i need to buy the T-bolt clamps now tho because when i get into boost a few times the worm drive clamps just dont hold the couplers on. lol!!

 

i cant wait to get tunned but im afraid of my clutch getting messed up what have you guys noticed about your clutch and the mods you have is it holding up ok. what down pipe should i get and is it better to get it before my tune or after i want to tune asap though.

heck u dont need tbolts... f those things... i hate em.. waste of money i ran 22 psi daily and 24 psi on race map.. and i used only worm gears.....

on my R13 i used tbolts and they all broke and ****.. i hate em.... heck my buddy's wrx makes over 1000awhp now and he doesnt use t bolts.... and hes runnin over 30 psi out a gt42r....

Dang, well the worm gears seem to be holding right now... maybe i just didnt have the one tight enough. lol!! if it blows off again i might look into the t-bolts.

get the DP first!!! then you can get tuned for that too. my clutch and crap seems to be holding up pretty good!

my brother told me that there is no point to get a downpipe with a stock exaust he said to get it with the exaust but i really want the tune so ima get the tune next week instead of getting the downpipe first
