I'm thinking of it, is it worth it? It seems modest/safe, can you tell a big difference in the car?

Thanks, that what I keep hearing. Which one did you get and did it work at install or were there issues like some other posts?

Also failed to mention superchips gives you a 2 year limited power train warranty. So if their tune blows your engine up. They help pay for a fix.

Depending on your results I will probably set my car up very similar. I would be happy with mid 13's at this stage. I'm going to do the muffler delete this week after hearing some of the other ones and probably go with the SCT soon after. Good luck.

SCT what?? I didnt know SCT had a tuner for the SS/TC out. What all can/does the Superchips tuner do that Trifectas doesnt?

I was considering Trifecta but this seems like a more modest/mild tune (which is kind of what I want). I don't want to have to worry about clutch slippage and other crap...mid to low 13s will MORE than satisfy me! Superchips should get a vendor represantative on here to talk about their tune a little bit. Plus it's a code reader/eraser thingy and can always be updated via the internet free of charge or fashed back to stock if you want! It seems a lot like the Cobb AccessPort.

And the 2 yr powertrain warranty that they offer is only available with the more expensive ($429) Cortex Programmer which is also available for our car. The Flashpaq that is $379 does not come with that from what I can see.

I didnt see anything about tuning for 93 octane on their website, just 87 or 89 and 91.

93 is an option, the warranty isn't just for the cortex, they all use the same flash, you just can plug more stuff into the cortex.

That's good that 93 is an option. Did you discuss in detail with a representative about the tuner? I would consider getting one of these sometime down the road, but it would be awhile. I'm gonna get the Trifecta tuner shipped to me again for $75 so I can retune my car once I get the catless DP and so I can raise my rev limiter up to 7k.

All you have to do is email a tech, and they can send you another tune via internet. I talked to the rep, and thats what I have been told, and that's been the case with my past cars. You can also raise the rev limit with the flashpaq

Yeah but I have already tuned my car with the Trifecta tuner, and I just need the tuner for my catless DP and to raise the rev limiter. So you figure $75 > $379. If I havent gotten a tuner yet than I would go with Superchips, but I've already been tuned. Can the Superchips tuner raise the boost to 22psi like Trifecta?

12's is pushing it unless you have full bolt ons, plus the tune. And I'm not 100% sure the Superchips tune is gonna work aswell as the Trifecta tune, which has already proven itself. I'd say 13.2-13.3 is a good guess as to what you'll run, unless you're good at launching FWD and if you are give me some pointers, LOL.
