What did you do to your Cobalt/G5 today?

I have this thread on my local car forum and various bike forums I am on, so I figured why not start one here. Who knows, maybe I will start posting again like I used to...

I'll start. I installed new front rotors and ceramic brake pads. My old ones were beyond worn out, in fact the squealers were worn off that's how bad they were. No worries, she stops better than ever now.

put a system in ( 3400 watts :P it loves me) but u can definatly feel the added weight ... 4.5 cubic foot box bairly fits in a redline trunk if anyone wondered lol ( built inside the trunk).

if anyone is into audio i have 2 12in re se's and 2 kenwood kac-9102D class amps. tweets= infinity, kicker, audiobahn. Mids= cerwinavega, beefy as crap frankenstined jensens. u can definatly tell te diffrence going from a 2.2 cubic foot box tunes to 50 hz compared to a 4.5 cubic foot tuned to 36 hz.

Hate to bust your bubble but you arent getting anywhere near 3400 watts of rms power from two 9102ds even with the most stout electrical system at 16 volts (which im sure those kenwoods wont run at) and if you are referring to the PEAK 1700 watts each amp put out then that could be your reason for thinking that.If you are running them at 1 ohm granted each amplifier is receiving a soild 14.4 volts which i doubt and WITHOUT impedance rise id say each amplifier is putting out about 700 rms, with imp. rise maybe 400 per amp.

I WENT WINGLESS. Took me almost an hour to get my low rise off. Still some gunk on the trunk to take off tomorrow. Gonna leave it for a bit and see if I like it, if not I'll get a highrise.

Follow the following steps:

Throw the kenwood amps in the trash
Replace with Zapco or old school Orion HCCA's.
Throw out the infinity tweets replace with silk dome hertz or Dynaudio.
Throw out the RE's for Treo,Dynaudio,Hertz,DD subs.

The Jensens..... Thats about as close to facepalm as i can get on here.....
