LNF turbo dump pipe gasket groove dimensions
I'm making a custom downpipe to turbo flange out of 3/8" 304 stainless. What I need to know is: if anyone can give me the measurements for how wide and how deep that factory "gasket groove" is in the exsisting down pipe flange. I need to machine a groove like that into my new flange. The "gasket" I'm refering to is that "ring" (#609) in the pic, and it seats in the groove in the "dump pipe" (#627). Click to enlarge the pic.

It's easy enough to make the groove, and I do have the gasket/ring to look at, but it's actually quite thick as far as gaskets go. I can see there's a certain amount of "crush" factor built into the design, so I'd like to build the groove to the right depth and width.
I don't want to end up with the gasket supporting too much of the gap, and I don't want to be surprised by how much it crushes down either! It's not like other plain steel turbo gaskets or head gaskets I've seen with a fire ring built into it, it's more like a soft steel ring around an "asbestos like" core.
I just can't believe nobodys got their down pipe off can give me these dimensions!?!?
