Normally when you say longblock you get the cylinder block and head...not the intake. If you mean you can buy the complete SC engine then you would have most of the items you need -- still need intercooler and all the plumbing, power for the cooler pump, and someone with the know-how. You cannot just bolt on the supercharger and make it work -- you need to tune for it. HPTuners or get a trifecta tune. Search this forum for more info on the SC installed on a 2.4.

Your 2.4L LE5 engine is better then 2.0L LSJ. Take the supercharger parts off of the LSJ and put them on your engine. Many people have already done this.

The intercooler pump pumps the coolant through the intake manifold and heat exchanger. I wired mine to get power from the fuel pump fuse.

Well, honestly back when I was looking to do this to my car at the beginning of the year I found the info in the how-to forum before I posted anything. I didn't ask any questions about it until there was something that wasn't listed. It pays to take a look at the whole site and it surely pays not to call people a douche when all you did in this thread is contributed name calling and not anything else.

Casey was a huge help in all of the questions I had, after I read everything, and it is pretty disrespectful to call someone like Casey (HunterKiller89) a douche, especially with all of the questions he has answered for douche's like me.

Really? You must not see the new thread asking the same question every other day. Hunterkiller is the last person that you should be calling a douche. He has been a big help for everyone that has gone supercharged. There are plenty of threads on this topic, just about any question anyone can have on this topic has been answered.

thank you! just gonna say that.

to burnrubr: I give out my phone number to anyone performing this build so they can ask questions whenever they need to so they dont need to wait for someone who knows to log on CSS. I'd say im helpful enough...
oh, and go count the number of threads asking this question in the last month.

yeah it will work with a 2.2 but it's black magic! I paid a witch doctor to work his magic.

seriously though that was uncalled for Hunterkiller89 since he is one of the people that helped me get my build off the ground as well as gene

I finished my beast in june of last summer and was meaning to tell both of you thanks! I read alot of your two threads and took my time, SEARCHED before I asked ?'s and there was no need to make a thread since there's at least 3 on this site that cover everything from having to grind down your head on the 2.2 to how to rewire your new LSJ TB

you clearly didnt notice he was being sarcastic....and so was I. lol I'm one of the people who helped him get his build off the ground...along with almost everyone who has done this. Now that Gene finished, he's joined me in helping those still doing this.
