AEM vs. Hahn Intake
AEM vs. Hahn Intake
I recently purchased a AEM cold air intake for my 2009 t/c and after looking at the Hahn intake I'm kinda having second thoughts. Should I stick with the AEM or switch to the Hhn
Hahn CAI is the best of the 4 I've tried. Air box mod second, AEM CAI third & Dejon SRI 4th.
Even a K&N drop in with the air box mod skews the trims 2-3%.
Any other intake needs the MAF sensor tweaked. A few of us have seen fuel trims of 9 - 11% to get them in line.
The AEM silicone piece causes problems with surging at cold start up and high boost. It tends to suck in and start to collapse.
The Dejon SRI has mounting issues and they use a piece of hose in the tube as a reducer. It also has no support bracket.
It took me many hours of tuning to get the Hahn intake dialed in.
Edit: I just realized I already posted a similar response to you in another forum, sorry.
