i think it would look better on a color car. red, yellow, and blue. not white. but it does look ok and is a redneck way to do something but it works

alot of club racers and drifters use it since their lips tend to take alot of beating anyways. If you take your time and fit it right it's a good cheap mod.

the only one I've ever seen with this material all the way around looked like trash. It was on an older civic, maybe he just didn't take his time but I don't think a full 'kit' would look good. stick with the lip.

I did the lip quite a few months back on my winter beater.
96 Neon




I used double sided tape and followed that up with screws every 3 or so inches apart. I live in Canada and even ripping through alleys in the snow with the bottom getting pounded by it the lip stayed on strong. It's cheap, can hold up to almost anything(damage wise) and for the most part looks good.

Seriously? Why?....your car belongs IN a garage, that doesn't mean garage pieces and parts go on your car. Why not just make a big wing out of 2x4 while ur at it? This particular mod is the EXACT definition of Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. Only, 95% of everyone on here has given guys who drive civics a bunch of **** because they're driving a jap car....contradictory at the least

i think the cobalts interior looks like **** with all the different colors so go ahead and paint the trim inside to atleast match your doors and paint it black, but the lip........ ive seen alotta civics do it so i say rice. lol maybe i can stuff that black stuff in my front bumper where i got pissed and kicked my grill out and had to finish it off with a drimel, cause new front bumpers are too damn pricey.

speaking of wood and home depot parts, might as well go with this look for real cheap

awesome. I dont feel like spending the over 100 dollars for a lip thats gonna crack if i bottom out.
this is a good alternative. unless you feel like paying for my lip to get repainted or a new one when i bottom out.
