08 cobalt ss exhaust..

So I purchased an 08 SS while here in Iraq, and I am curious.. What is a good exhaust I can put on this car? I am looking for one that isn't super expensive, but has good performance.. Google came up with Megan, Agency Sport, and Hahn. Of these three, Megan was the cheapest, but I realize you get what you pay for, does anyone have any information on it, is it a keeper, or don't waste my cash? Any input is appreciated, thanks guys!

I decided to do a hi-flow catted DP, but keep my stock catback. Seemed the best use of my money.

If I was going catless, for $160 shipped off eBay, I'd get the Megan angled bung pipe.

What are they saying, 10-15 horses for that? Say it's 10, that's $16 per horse, dirt cheap.

What are they saying for catbacks, 6-8? Say it's 6 for $400, that's $66 per horse, too much for me.

I see one claim for 12 for $470, that's around $40 per horse (if the claim proves true FOR YOUR CAR).

You can pick up 40 horses on a tune, that's the best bang per buck, could be cheaper than $10/horse.

Next is the Megan catless DP.

Next is a turbo upgrade, but that requires some other mods to support it.

Absolute best is to figure out exactly what you need first, save it, then spend it all at once, tuning for it.

I felt a goos improvement with Hahn DP and catback, but if you lower your car, the Hahn will hit the rear axle

Modern Performance if your doing a catback, sounds quiet / stock like at idle and is a banshee at WOT (it is very similar to hahns but cheaper and does not hit the back when it is lowered).

Also an exhaust is probably the last thing you should put on an LNF, as it will give you very little to no gains, even with a tune. First you should get a downpipe, cat or catless your choice, zzp hahn are the most popular, bad mab seems to be the cheapest, the only diff is the bung angle so you dont throw CEL's that need to be tuned out anyway.

Best bang for your buck is Tune, Downpipe, and Intake. Everything else on this car will be for nominal gains and personal preference unless you go all the way and get meth and or a turbo swap.

If you want sound, trust me a catless DP will make it sound good, and perform better

Thanks for, and be safe, being overseas.

I have a 3" zzp catless dp, the rest of the exhaust is stock. I am really interested in dejons cat back coming out.

I also am just debating getting a aftermarket muffler & getting rid of the stock muffler/couch under the car lol. Wish I could help ya out w/info but here to see what ppl say to you about the topic

I personally like ZZP'S catback, I have it yes, but I'm not just saying that because of that

The quality is awesome, I'm sure others are great quality too but that's just my choice

Def. get ZZP'S catless dp too, best IMO

none have "performance" per say. But going 3" is good for future mods and getting the gas out and away from the turbo. I think MPX has the best exhaust.

I love my Hahn! My second option would have been ZZP if it would have been out when i got my exhaust.
