09 ss mod questions

I want to put a stage 1 cam in my lnf. is it required that i replace springs and retainers? what could I hurt by not replacing them as well? only asking because money is an issue...

Not required, as long as you reinstall properly you'll be fine

Yeah we did the same upgrade and reused the springs and retainers. No issues in at 8k miles

I hope you have spent money on other things like downpipe, tune etc before shelling out big money for the cam. Not much gain with a stock turbo unless you are getting it for the fuel lobe to run e85 on.
