110k what's gonna go soon??

Anything engine wise I should look to replace befor it goes pop. My car got 110k nothing has gone wrong but I rather replace it befor it goes. Fully bolted and I've only replaced the Brakes, CABs got a Gmmp sitting waiting for the stocker to start slipping and I'm gonna walnut blast it after the holidays. My 10' has been a great car even TF tuned since 70k with 50+ drag passes and street racing over 3 years never misses a beat. Figure I fix anything befor it goes bang lol any input appreciated!! Im only asking cuz I'm gonna hp tune, turbo swap and mod it more just want to make sure it's stays running like a top!

)Aside from walnut blasting your valves I can't see much going from just general wear and tear, you have a pretty reasonable tune and the supporting mods. Check your compression and if that's all good I wouldn't touch anything. Timing chain and tensioner are all I can think of.

Did the spark plugs at 75k got another set sitting in the garage. Gonna do the trans oil when I do the clutch. Belt and thermostat I need to do probably the belt looks fine tho. I actually have a super small coolest leak only when it's cold out tho so I add new coolant probably 2 times a year that reminds me I need to find that leak lol

Sorry but asking a question like that is similar to asking "Hey I married a woman who just turned 48, what health issue are going to happen?"

I have wondered about this, but we have no seen near the number of chain failures like the LSJ guys do.

We benefit from being multiple generations into the Ecotec development. Including chain and chain guide upgrades. My timing chain makes almost no noise.

The chain is not the failure point in the LSJ....

It's the guides and tensioner that cause the problems. The chain itself is more than capable of lasting the life of the engine.

Most have upgraded to the new style tensioner and upgrade ARP bolts. Myself included.

Timing chain guides. One of mine died somewhere around 110k. Worth it to replace the whole timing set now before skipping teeth or shearing off a bolt in the head.
