yes when im driving the turbo cobalt ss in my garage right now it definetly helps out with no lift shift as well.

did you try out all the different modes johnyb?? the launch control, the competetive mode, with and without the esc off???

yes this car is faster then an ss/sc stage 2. remember though guys, in 1st gear its torque management is at 220 hp, then in 2nd gear its 240, then in 3rd gear you finally get all 260 hp.

this was GM's way of making sure people didnt fry the clutch upon launching. and on top of that was a good way to make sure things dont break as easily.

Im pretty sure its 260 BHP and not WHP. Its pretty much the same motor as in the Sky RL and Pontiac GXP correct? Look what they are putting down. But def. looks like a sweet ride, hopefully those brembos can be had for a good price

if the solstice gets stage kits can you just use them on the cobalt instead? it would probably void you warranty though......but i really think they are going to offer stage kits for the ss/tc....at least i hope so

That's wishful thinking but I'm with you on that because if it can be done relatively cheap, I'm getting some!

roof mounted antenna?

is the roof mounted antenna for the xm radio? i like the roof mounted design but it looks stupid t ohave 2 antennas especially when one is so hideous (am/fm). when i buy my ss/tc i will be removing that ugly rear antenna. i can't believe im the first one to cry about the new dual antennas.

I want to drive one of these pups and see what kinda power difference they have over stage 2 supercharged balts. Overall these cars seem like another one of our type of people's dream cars! But im stickin with the SS/SC. you think SS/SC will be a collector??? I sure as hell hope so...
