by the way i wanted to ask you johnny, we all were so pissed about our gear ratios.... Now does the ss/tc have the same shitty first gear as the ss/sc or does it actually have some ***** to it??

Good write-up. I'm really looking forward to dealerships getting them so I can compare it to my ss/sc. I heavily doubt I'll like it enough to trade my baby in, but you never know.
Also... Brembos for the ss/sc? Hmmm... I think I sense a mod coming...

Man this car is bad ass all around, it does make you want to trade in your ss/sc, but idk because i love instant boost. But by the way it is looking this car might have close to instant boost too. Thanx jonyyb for the write up. How did the boost feel, did the turbo spool quick or was there some lag.

But what did the GM designers say about the fact that the turbo is basically all but maxed out already!
I've read numerous reports on the Borg Warner K04 will spike to 20-21 psi and then slowly loose boost all the way to 6000 rpm!
Doesn't leave much room for improvement... I might be willing to trade my car in for one... because I want a quick 4 door, if the S/C would have been a 4dr then this wouldn't even be an option!

Well I talked to a manager from a dealership and he told me that sense I have the CAI and exhaust from GMPP it would up my trade in value. I will keep you posted on what happens Monday.
If you own more then the trade in they will add what ever is extra to the new car. IE If you own 17k and the trade in value is say 12k they will take the other 5k and add it to the price of the new car.

haha so i talked to my salesman the guy who i went through on my ss/sc and had bought two cars from....Now for all those people who barely owe nething on their balt as in me he said i could use my car as a downpayment for the ss/tc and he would give me excellent condition on blue book value for it
neway im gonna go in there to actually sit and talk with him on how much pricing and how much the car will cost me....Im not sure yet i might have to work alot of overtime to save up about 3-4 grand as some means for a cheaper car payment than my car now

Mine is around $10,000, but I hope w/ about $2,500 in mods, I could jack that price up a little.
