2009 SS sedan
Hi from the east coast of Canada! Newbie, old fart, first post and need advice. I am all consumed on getting a new SS sedan. The sleeper aspect of being invisible in a small city suits me perfectly. The local Chev dealers are a bit lost on the concept and the car. They have plenty in allotment... but don't have many answers. I would like to try and get a "Sport Red Tint" sedan but I am not sure if they are still available in Canada. There was a 2 door in Manitoba recently. Beautiful! Other than not knowing that... I want a sedan w/LSD and sunroof and USB. Do any of you living in Canada know if the colour(Canadian spelling) is still available? I am also anxious to order the GM performance upgrade on availability! Should be a blast! Oh!! The dealer has given me the option of full list and 0% financing or list -$4K for cash(as advertised on gm.ca). WOW. I'm so special! Any thoughts?

I live in Ohio, purchased my SS Sedan in February and I love it. Sport tintcoat red, sunroof, no USB, but I connect my IPOD up to the MP3 jack. Nice sleeper, I have yet to get a second look from anyone that I know of, not even the police. I hope you get it you wont be disappointed!

I have to admit it... the SS is the best kept secret in the industry. The test drive I went on was through some of the worst city streets imaginable. Pot holes the size of Honda civics. The '09 SS was so tight and so nimble. It was shocking how good the car handled! I slalom raced a lot of cars but this was the biggest surprise when I got behind the wheel. Heinricey's picture should be on our of our walls and we should bow to him each morning. There is no way Chev can duplicate this effort on future cars... Glad to hear that you don't get a second look from the police in your sedan. You got to love it!

Thanks everyone for the help. My dealer is checking stock on sport tint red w/LSD... but can get Blue, White, Black and Silver. A silver sedan would be very invisible... which is good... however my second choice will be Blue. Somewhat unpretentious; but deadly! I wonder if anybody has been pulled over by the police for doing in excess of 130mph in a Cobalt sedan? I would say "What? In this?". You'd get off for sure!
