ahaha, well, that's funny ****.

can't we all just get along!... no?... okay then lol, anyways i've come across many civics while driving my ss/sc and most are just POS with a fart can which i choose not to waste my 93 gas on but other than the new si the only civic to give me those most comp was a hatch. Now i don't know what he had done to it i know it def had exhaust but thats not saying much all i know is that it wasn't an easy kill. So if anyone thinks 130lbs torque on a car that weighs as light as a hatch has no power then they're unaware of their ignorance. So if anyone knows anything about cars you should know to beware of a modded civic hatch!

Dude, they arent as dope as you think....I raced a Stripped to a shell Integra with a K20a2 swap with 6speed...motor was making 240whp, weighed like 2200lbs and it only put a car and a half on my stg2 SS/SC from a dig to 95mph....He gave me a ride in it afterwards and he drove it perfectly, so no driver error was to blame..I thought it would pull on me alot harder than it did........BTW I drove perfectly as well, I nailed 1st gear perfectly which is hard to do sometimes in our cars ....I agree that they will hang, but not very well with a decently modded Cobalt..

Personally I would like to know how the guy removed over a thousand pounds off a teg. My LS weighs 3480lbs. Maybe he didnt install the engine?

did a little research just to make myself feel a little better...dc2 weighs 3480 lbs stock...ur not swapping a b18 for a k20 and taking out 1280 lbs (more with driver in the car) out a integra...i mean 500 pounds of interior yes..but 1280 lbs no..unless ur fiberglassing the body and **** like that...
No engine and no wheel mod!

AHAHAHA, you're so popular on the internet now that you finally got to post your failboat picture enjoy your fame...................I admit the weight of the car was likely underestimated at 2200lbs as the owner claims, but the car's roof was cut out and replaced with carbon fiber, the inerior is gone except for the dash, consol, and the 2 racing seats...The way I described my encounter with this car was not a work of fiction!

a dc2 weigh 3480lbs? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! , you're crazy, do you really think an Integra with the b18c5 with only 195hp and 130tq could pull a low 15 sec stock and weigh 3480lbs???..the LS teg weighs less than 2700lbs stock, type R weighs less than 2600lbs...

Your almost right. I WAS wrong, i gave you the wrong weight. An Integra LS isnt 3480, its 3680. I can get a pic in the morning for you if you would like.
You know using wiki for info like that is a bad idea because its user submitted and has a good chance of being WRONG, right?

there is no way a teg weighs 3600 lbs. here is info from cars.com

do you know what GVWR stand for?
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating-- its the most weight that the integra can haul FULLY LOADED.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GVWR
A gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is the maximum allowable total weight of a road vehicle or trailer when loaded - i.e including the weight of the vehicle itself plus fuel, passengers, cargo, and trailer tongue weight.
The difference between gross weight and curb weight is the total passenger and cargo weight capacity of the vehicle. For example, a pickup truck with a curb weight of 4500 pounds might have a cargo capacity of 2000 pounds, meaning it can have a gross weight of 6500 pounds when fully loaded.

yea like 210 tops with a turbo could be a def mindblower one acura around me makes 600whp on race gas hes no ******* joke

omg.. itr weights like 2500-2600.. you can easily make that 2300 pounds. the real deal is a 92 civic hatchback cx. you can get those to 1500lbs and swap a jdm k20a2 (maybe 1600lbs with a k series instead of b series) in that and eat the cobalt for lunch. with hondata and a few mods easily a mid 12 second car. this is also N/A not FI. add comptech supercharger or turbonetics/greddy kit and now you need mickies, traction bars, hasport mounts, and a good driver! also this can easily push 220 whp with just hondata and basic breathing mods. another positive thing is no torque = no wheelspin = better traction lol.
