bent axle hit a curb *********
alright guys i was driving around 30 mph i almost passed where i had to turn, i just hit a curb around 20 - 25 mph my rear axle was already bent bt it made it worse now my wheel/ rim is from top to bottom bent inward its noticiable, and so is the front but the front isnt as bad, i took it to an alignment shop, they told me the front is fine they re-aligned it, but my rear axle beam has a bend in it,
question
Could this have caused engine damage?
I took pictures the tie rod isnt broken its fine,
the car is driveable, goes into all gears, it did say low coolant had to refill coolant, had loss of coolant after the incident....
Could i just bend my axle best as possible or should i just invest the 200 bcks and get the rear axle beam?
Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated as i love my car and am distraught after this turn of events,
is this even fixable? am i screwed and should i just sell the car? i dont want to.
Thanks

see to the right where the bend is at the rear axle beam is bent horribly =[ i m saddend by this tragedy i hope i can fix it. and
look at the tires, my tires were being eaten within 1 month BEFORE this occured my rear axle was already bad. and the front isnt as bad bt it is bent on the left side.
hoping this is fixable.....

you could try to find a frame shop near you and ask their opinion, but if they cant do anything about it, you need a rear frame that came with rear disc brakes

its not bad of a price, the junkyards in miami dont have any cobalts i looked all around for it. unless i get one from a regular cobalt but i dont want to downgrade my suspension. even tho this is from the supercharged cobalt, anyways
i just did a pull like full punch it pedal to the metal, in my 3rd gear boost isnt hitting how before? its feels very sluggish, how could this be? is my transmission damaged now? and also a back fire which did not occur before it did backfire coupple times after i did the pull... am i looking at engine damage too , ? maybe my transmission?

im going to change out the rear axle beam thats suspension not a problem i just hoping i did not hurt the engine from a curb hit..... what took the most impact was the wheels to suspension...@ 15 - 20 mph
