Bittersweet day for me.
Well the day has finally come where i decided to part ways with my SS/TC sedan
pending pickup right now but it's a younger guy that owns a 1G DSM. I know he'll take care of her like i have judging by the condition of his other car.
It's going to suck watching it drive away and have my kids ask where "turbo" is but it was only a matter of time.
sold her for $10,000. she had 85,000km on it.
i will still be on here from time to time. it's been a great community. I'll keep you all updated on future purchases in the years to come.
Cheers!
Chris

Thats a really clean car! And what a deal for the new owner!
Makes me wish I had flown there and drove it out to AB.
So what is the replacement car for this?
On a side note, I am from Windsor, my grandparents still live there on the Bog road in falmouth.

haha right on! small world! well right now not sure. gonna put the money towards some necessary family matters first. hoping there will be enough left to either use towards another car or maybe start an engine project and keep the garage space free for now. Big block mopar maybe.

thanks for the encouraging words fellas. i will miss this car and if it wasn't for other family matters and my desire to build an old mopar muscle car like i had always planned it would stay with me and be a daily alongside a nicer car but it is what it is. i expect it will be gone in the spring unless i win the lottery lol
i had fun with the cobalt community and if things change i will keep her as she's been a great little car but we'll see. for now i'll enjoy her while i can. she's now parked in the heated garage to live out the harsh winter in comfort.

Definitely a sign to keep her.
I bounce around between the Balt, the Camaro, and the 4 Runner to keep the mileage down and 'cuz heavy traffic in a manual can downright suck.
Maybe you could do a crowd fund ?
:-)
Best of luck !

hahaha if i was to buy a truck it would be a Chev more than likely. rams are decent looking and everyone loves a hemi but i just don't like their reliability. I've always been impartial to Fords. great trucks i just don't like them for some reason.

46K on mine - with the 33 mile one way commute I have had to work I have enjoyed the gas mileage.
