As slow as you guys are getting around to installing I'll have my turbo off in 2 weeks, drive down to BNR to get a turbo and re-install, only problem I'm having is deciding on stage 1 or 2.
Having the UICP fabricated to work with the stage 2 turbo plus a bov flange is no big deal, just afraid of lag city with the stage 2.
But damn it would be sweet to be sitting at 375-400 whp.

No, he's got a different GT2871 setup.

The BNR GT2871 is considered the Stage 2 though, yes.

Let us know if you do the install FF_ace

I know this has been touched on before but is it easier to try and remove the turbo through the top of the engine bay? When I did my pistons it was easy cause the valve cover whas out of the way and so was everything else. Wondering if that is still necessary to swap the turbo out too.

You damn well better be . We have like 20 people with money burning a whole in there pockets

It's the middle of January I wouldn't want to be installing that in my garage 0 degrees.

I bet it would make hella power tho this cold

Seriously tax time is right around the corner.. I can't wait for the results.....

I have FF aces old dejon kit and let me tell u it is definitely easier thru the bottom. Also FF ace I believe I told you the spool up problem with the dejon kit was the manifold. Anyway my new manifold comes in tomorrow. Also meth is going on. I will have to get a video for u to see ur old setup on a run. If I am right about the manifold like I'm pretty sure I am, this car is going to be sick with this kit. /thread jack

i agree with you. the turbo wasnt starting to pull until 4.5k for me. i hope everything works out for you with this new manifold. the meth is a good idea cause the added fuel will help you out up top. are you using hp tuners or trifecta to tune you?
