Not saying it can't be cranked up, but usually people want an efficiency baseline as far as the turbo. Once you decide to start going up in boost, you start running into compression-related obstacles.

Yeah, I guess I'm just saying that it's going to be different depending on if you're talking about the turbo or the particular car.

Tell y'all what though. If the pure E85 capability comes about, that'll be fantastic for this application. If you're increasing effective compression by upping the boost a lot, then that would be prime territory for a higher octane fuel such as E85. 105 for E85!
The problem is figuring out how to work around the DI injection window using HPFP pressures within reason (such as a max of 2,800 psi) when you're not only increasing the amount of fuel needed for a stoich mix at any point in time, but also increasing it again by going with a bigger turbo and flowing more air that you're needing to match with fuel.

There is like 5 or 6 E85 fuel pumps, but they are all 1 hr away, one way.
So I would be running 93 Octane only, unless I went to the drag strip and bought race gas.
I would love to run E85

We need bigger injectors to run E85 even on the stock turbo at 24 psi, I ran out of fuel at 2800 psi in the upper midrange & popped a low fuel rail pressure CEL several times. Since then I repaired the missing injector seal on #3 so perhaps I'll have better luck.
60% Ethanol (2:1 E85 to E10) is about the best I can run reliably & start in the cold weather now. Once it warms up I'll play with straight E85 again.

I see 32-40 degrees at the lat2 sensor. 50/50 meth/water works good. and this is in az when it was 100 outside. Also if i recall this right BNR told me they got around 390 hp to the wheels on a kappa.

There is no real how-to but the general consensus is unbolting the dp, then unbolting the turbo and removing it all from underneath the car rather than the top. You'd have to have some mechanical knowledge and experience with tools or know someone willing to help you out. It's a bit technical, yes, but totally doable

A guy with LNF sky, running trifecta tune (2800psi) with gt3582r, also popped a low fuel rail pressure CEL several times before. He changed the stock fuel pump to 255lph walbro.......and he never had that low fuel rail pressure CEL again.
He is not running E85 though....just regular pump gas

E is in the car
Taking it well thus far, we'll find out soon enough what the fuel limit is Im sure lol. Took 15% adjustment on the initial update, we'll see what the next couple do as the mixed gas settles in.

I wonder if BNR could to the direct bolt up GT30r like BTF was doing? if they could i wonder if they could do the new GTX series wheels in the turbo... Id be very interested in this!
