Just an update. Install is done. I had a timing prob(I installed valve springs while the car was down but did not run it without a turbo so had to wait) that turned out I was off by one tooth down at the crank. Fixed that and I was pleasantly surprised that I got NO codes. None

I routed the vac lines just like you all recommended and everything seems to be working perfectly. I had to make a bunch of tiny adjustments to the BOV cause it was too stiff and I was getting surge. Ive got it to where it bloes off now properly but I still get a tiny amount of surge at low throttle. Not sure if I should make it a tad softer cause Im afraid to affect the higher throttle/boost blow off.

Anyways, I logged with HPT on the stock GMS1 and I was amazed that with all the mods and not being tuned for the CAI and BOV there was no KR. A degree here and there but nowhere near as bad as it was on the 2860. I did replace both round crush gaskets on DP and turbo to o2 housing aswell.

Thanks to all of you who helped me out and pointed me in the right direction! I really apreciate it

No meng! El 2860 was a dudd. Tremendo dolor de cabesa, 'pa que fue eso. Im on the 2871 now. Car was down almost three weeks waiting on the turbo to arrive. I missed my car bro! Glad shes up and running now I just have to get her tuned.
Shes running smoother than she did before lol Alost too quite. I may have to look at eliminating my resonator to get some more turbo and growl

Ill see if I can set something up with Stamina(the OP). Im on the very first revision of the TF tune though. Still lots of tuning left to maximize the power output.

Personally I'm working on a E35 blend tune atm on my BNR 2871. After I get that ironed out I'm gonna see what I can get out of a 6 pin 2.4 TB tuned.

So if that EFR turbo ends up being $2.2k-$2.5k, I bet 75% of the people will jump ship, ZZP has to make up that money somewhere for the custom casting being made.

So right off the bat its got to cost more then a regular EFR turbo.

But first thing is first, it has to come out.

yeah that is totally true maybe some cheaper options for bolt on kits for some of the "older" turbos will hit the market, i am still thinking of buying the upgrade, in the next few months, i called atp they said they have no plans of making a bolt on kit for our cars like they do for everyone else which sucks

Any of those Euro turbo shops aren't going to make anything for us.

I tried APR Turbochargers in Alabama 2 years ago and got shot down with they are sticking with there Euro brands only.

Even though we run a better version of there K04's stock
