Coilovers Stance or D2 Coils

I was just wondering what coilovers are better i am looking for a level ride but with good performance. unable to find anything on a comparison between these two coilovers.

stance make some of the best coils IMO.

HSD make Stance. HSD are less money for the same thing, unless Stance are having a firesale...

so john would you go with d2 coilovers then ? i can get d2's for 899 or stance right now are on sale for 999?

I would say stance over d2 but then I am not aware of D2, I do know stance and HSD. HSD have a revised rear shock valving. You gotta preload the spring to make them work right though. A lot. About 1/4 inch anyway

Hmm never knew that about hsd. I'm sure this applies to the stance ones also? I've heard the stance coils need a lot of adjustments then I've heard throw them on and mess with the dampers and they are fine. I'm just daily driving the car so it doesn't really matter to me just trying to get some insite before I throw them on

It is really important to preload the spring. thats for sure.

Ill have to remember that. I was told to snug the lockring on the spring but I will do the 1/4 forsure. Thanks john
