Fuel Injection Cleaner ?

I was wondering what type of fuel injetion cleaner everyone has used on there tc ? I know it does and help the intake valves at all. Im more thinking of cleaning the injectors and piston tops them selves with a fuel inkection cleaner. I blasted my valves last summer. But i have never ran anything threw the fuel system to help clean the injectors or the piston tops of carbon ever yet. Is there any difference in using any old fuel injection cleaner on our DI engines ? Or a specific kind we have to use ?

Thanks

I run a can of Berryman's B12 Chemtool through every 6 months or so. It worked wonders on a bike my Dad pulled out of a field that had been there for a few years. Carb caked with old fuel and other crap. Ran B12 in every tank for a few weeks, removed the carb and it looked brand new.

+1

Berrymans B-12 Chemtool poured into the gas tank has worked wonders on several cars I have dealt with through the years, taking a few that stumbled and struggled to run at all, and had them purring like a kitten within 10 miles or so of driving.

On one of those cars I tried like 3 other FI cleaners that did nothing at all to help. I have been sold on B12 for 20 years now.

I don't remember why but I do remember being told on here not to run those cleaners Direct injection engines. Not because the fuel doesn't touch the valves, but more along the lines of that it doesn't help injectors because they are so high pressure. The cleaner spends no time cleaning the injectors because it's at a thousand PSI.

You should be able to get it at Autozone. Runs about 5 USD a can down here.
