Lightbulb Hahn racecraft products

Hey guys I just bought a 2009
Cobalt tc it came with an injen charge pipe, 3" Hahn catback exhaust and that's all
I know of right now, it's a certified used car so I know not much can be changed to be certified. What are the limits of certification and moding? So i can try and figure out if its been tuned or not. But the reason im ask is I want to change out the charge
Pipe and stock airbox. I've been reading some good reviews on Hahn products, and I was just wondering everyones thoughts on Hahn charge piping, intake, I/C, exhaust... Or any other brands of the sort I should be considering. I've been doing a lot of research but not getting as much info as I would like.. So I signed up to talk to some experts! Also where is a good website to buy Hahn parts? Or Any other cobalt ss tc parts.. Thanks any thoughts or comments appreciated!

Not sure on Hahn, never bought from them. Try ZZP or TTR, they are popular on this site. Oh and welcome

Usually a certified car will have no mods at all on it but it depends on where you bought it, I guess. Hahn products are good, they just had a bad rep with being very pricey.

This is a link to Hahn's page.
Cobalt 2.0 Performance

Like said before ZZPerformance also puts out good quality work.

The hahn catback is a high quality piece. Hahn is known for very quality products, but they aren't always the cheapest.

Many companies out there for parts. Treadstone is another good one, as well as the ones already listed

If the car boosts over 15psi, its been tuned. Only thing that will let you truly keep your warranty tune wise is the GMS1, talk to Tom at CrateEngineDepot to pick that up

i bought USED Hahn 3" catless dp and cat back. i put my catless DP on about a week ago and love the way it sounds with the hahn full exhuast! sounds damn good!

if i wouldnt have got a good deal on the hahn i prolly would have went with ZZP or TurboXS DP

edit: if you go with GMS1,intake and exhaust are about the only things that will be effective with the canned GM tune.

What I've pretty much figured out is, if you want to keep your warranty then go with the GMS1. If you don't have warranty, then I'd probably just trifecta tune it

If youre interested in goin faster and keeping a warranty, its well worth the money. Buy a legit kit, and have a dealer install it.

Yeah I love my Hahn exhaust, it's not very loud but has a nice sound to it, then again I'm used to my loud ass exhaust on my 09 mustang gt lol

I'm still running the stock cat-back on my car except with a cat-less downpipe and a muffler delete. Some people on here complain that running that set up is too loud but like you, I used to have an 05 Evo with a complete 3" turbo back that was a lot louder than the SS.

i doubt that car still has the warranty, another member that is on the site, that lives near me bought his car modded and the dealer told him it had the warranty, he just popped a ringland and gm said tough luck, you have a modded car. Just get everything in writing dude just in case something may happen down the line, GM is shady with warranty.

I bought mine from a buddy who sold his ss/tc. He chopped the hahn muffler off and put a little more high flow muffler on. It still sounds good at WOT. I was thinking xof taking my hahn cat back and putting the stock catback on with MD but i love my exhaust now!

All I have on mine is Hahn products. Yes pricey but the exhaust sounds nice. Other companies make good parts for cheaper. Youtube some sound clips of different exhausts on our cars and see what you might like.

Damn that's a good idea I'll call the dealer today and ask them about it. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been tuned so all that's on it is an injen charge pipe and the hahn exhaust

Yeah I like the Hahn exhaust I'm
Definitely keeping it, but I'd like to have all the same parts to match but Hahn is pretty pricey I might just gp with something a little cheaper fpr the time being then when I have the money just upgrade to Hahn. But first I'm gonna figure out my warranty situation and see where I stand from there.
