Yes the way the intake sets it is kind of more at a ten or 11 o clock position slightly pointed away from the engine like cuda joe had said. When I had it upside down my trims were +7 I was like what the hell worse than airbox mod and the drop in filter. Today third day of having it right cruising ltft's were 0 again.

Ya you need to get that scanned and post the error code, it may not even be your intake.

As soon as K&N gets more made, we will have one. They are working on them already, they stated about 2 weeks.

Yes jarhead is correct. The best position for. The filter is to have the bulge facing up. I am running like that right now and my fuel trim are great. Ltft is -2.3. I. Can't believe k&n didn't specify which Way the filter faces...

So, to recap... the 10-11 o'clock position seems to be the best filter rotation for near-neutral trims?

Yes about 11 oclock is where mine is at. I will experiment between 10 and 2 and see what happens but I dont know if it will be any better. My ltft range is the lowest today -.08 and highest was +1.6 a lot of the time was 0 again drove another 100 miles mixed city and highway driving looking very promising.

Well at wot, does the fuel trim go positive by like 7.0? Cause that's what happened to me in that position. Cruising looked good but wot didn't.

Wow, that's outstanding.

Props to K&N for paying attention to this.

On my way home from O.C., MD, I adjust the filter to about the 12:30am position and my ltft's are floating around -2.3 under hard accleration my stft's are near 0.0 and at cruising my stft's float around -3.0 to -1.5.. I do notice it stil ltends to bounce initially at decelerating or accelerating but I can't see this being bad at all... I mean it corrects itself immediately. I wish I watched my stock airbox fuel trims to see the difference. Right now Im certain this intake is exactly what we needed.

How do you adjust to the 12:30AM position? What are you using for the minute hand? How do you tell between AM and PM?

lolz, well on the bottom of the intake which happens to be the buldge there is a piece of metal that clamps the cone of the filter together. I then take an algebraic compass and hold it up to the end of the filter and line the metal piece to the 105 degree mark.

Oh and its a.m. cause I rotated the filter twice around before stopping at the 12:30 mark.

well the stock intake doesnt stay at 0 for fuel trims either...but imo from the logs and people that have logged it, this has shown the best trims yet of any intake, WITHOUT tuning for.

It seems like it from whats been posted. I agree the stock intake LTFT's can be anywhere from -3 to +3 depending on the weather, fuel, ect. The OEM tables are generic for the setup.
