No need for the fuel pump rewire either. And if you get an intake, I'd recommend a sri. I have a cai and get issues with my car sucking up water when it rains. Same hp gains can be achieved with the sri.

Also: For the fuel pump rewire, It's more of a piece of mind thing for me.

Cat-less will always make even just a little bit more power that a high flow catted pipe. It might not be a huge difference in power, hell you might not even notice the difference in power between the two. But regardless, cat-less is the best for power gains. Most people recommend the MPx exhaust. It sounds great from what I've seen on the internet, but never heard one in person. I have the ZZP cat-less downpipe and ZZP exhaust. I like it because it's not too loud at idle or low rpm cruising, but when you get on it, it has a nice sound to it. Performance is pretty similar to all 3 inch catback exhausts, mostly just personal preference.

Chevrolet Cobalt SS SC (F35/MC2), Cobalt SS TC (F35/MU3), HHR SS TC (F35/MC2) MODEL: QDH8J
RETAIL: $976.75
I'm sure I could get the stock gm one through my job for alot cheaper.
or like I said, get a used one and use it as a core to get a ZZP Trans.
Thanks. Like I said in my OP (need opinions). From the reviews I've read, although I haven't heard either in person, it'll probably be ZZP or MPx. I knew about the difference in power in the DP, but what I don't know is will the catless have any other effects? abnormal soot, Throwing codes, ETC...

Well as far as cat-less, obviously you'll have a stronger "gas" smell coming from your exhaust. Most cat-less downpipes have an option for an angled 02 bung. These angled ones help reduce the chance of throwing a code if you're going to run the downpipe without getting tuned. Of course its best to get tuned, but it's not necessary. Some people report never throwing codes with downpipes with the angled bung after months of use, some report codes. It seems kinda hit or miss.

The K&N SRI is a CAI on the lnfs. 69-4518TTK - K&N 69 Series Typhoon Kits, Performance Intake Kit

Edit: let me rephrase that, you won't create enough power on the stock turbo to need it.
That is indeed an SRI. The true CAI goes in behind the inner fender liner and right behind your bumper in the right and is very vulnerable to road water there. The K&N typhoon SRI sits right where your stock airbox sits.

Like I said, that's retail. Not GM employee pricing. Also, with a core without a LSD the ZZP comes out to be like 2500. So find a used one with the LSD and core it for the ZZP so its only 1600.

The fuel pump rewire wont help you unless you get cams. The only fuel issues come from the high pressure fuel pump on the head and the pressure from that can be increased with cams and the increased lift fuel pump lobe.

Bump, updated list. Any ideas on whats the best spring to put on the tc shocks/struts for big drop but still decent ride? I'm putting 235/35s on my stock rims, and want a pretty good drop.
Pedders, eibach?
