My "Buy a LNF they said..." Problem/Build Thread.

Car is back on the ground (pics to come).
Everything is installed and she drives really nice. The clutch still has some air in it, but I do not have anyone to help me. I vacuum bled it a bunch, but I find traditional to work best. I drove it about 5 miles with the MAF relocate and the base file Term2 sent me for it and I have to say, these cars should have come from the factory with a blow through; so much smoother.
I am not going to make any boost for the next 500 miles because I do not want to do this again.
Also, I have about 11 bolts left over. Hmmmmm. Will post pics haha.
I am pretty stoked right now to have hopped in and gone for a ride. I now remember why I bought this car and am currently happy about it.

Couple more years at least. I plan on going big turbo so I guess I am planning on a motor build lol.
There is a lot I want to do, but as long as it runs and drives my LSJ is getting sold Saturday.
I have to put on my LNF:
Ingalls
OTTP stage 2 mounts
SSC's
Hellas
HID fogs
HID headlights
OEM boost gauge
Guage cluster bezel
OTTP rack spacers
Braided brake lines
Slotted rotors
new pads
tinted tail lights
led foot well, dome, and trunk lighting
retint the back window
Pioneer in dash screen
Navigation
Dash camera
new tie rod ends
building traction bars
new sway bar end links
Soooo itll be an ongoing project. And it was supposed to stay stock...

Did you change out every part for the clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder, etc? I ran into issues not replacing everything at the same time on my old supercharged. Food for thought.
Yes, blow through is the best. The air is much less turbulent it seems and the car is a ton smoother, especially in partial throttle and cruising.
And no need to build the motor on these cars for big turbo. If GM did one thing right with the LSJ/LNF it's give it a ballsy motor from the factory capable of handling decent power.

I didn't plan on the car being apart for a month lol.
Yup; I always do. TOB, clutch pipe, bleeder block, OTTP clutch line, and bolts for it all are brand new.
Clutch is letting out at the top so air is still working it's way in. I think the vacuum pump I have is leaking and not giving a full seal. I'm making my assistant annually bleed it with me at work tomorrow.
I have to check the PCM too. I forgot to tighten a t bolt and blew the upper charge pipe off driving home. I still drove it 5 miles and no code popped. I think the boost leak code is shut off.

Okay.
That actually makes more sense now that I think about it.
====
Here is what I did to make my ZZP charge pipe fit. I cut off the last elbow right after it finished the curve into the straight section (maybe 1" after). I used a 4" x 7" 90 degree coupler. I used this guys tip and made my own bead roller. It is a pain in the dick to cut the hardener steel on the tool, but it works well.

Still bleeding the clutch. My assistant at work is manning the pedal, but there is a **** ton of air in this thing. I am surprised it was engaging enough for me to drive it to work.
Thank you! The bead roller tool is pretty kick as. It only works on aluminum though, I tried it on steel and it is too thick.

Its a she; I should have specified. 6.5 year old AKC GSD. I rescued her from being put down for being aggressive and about killing another dog. She was abused and attacked a pomeranian she used to live with. The owners were clueless on socializing, they had Akela (the GSD) and then got the pom. Kela did not like it so instead of working with them they locked her in a bedroom 24/7. One day she got out and the pom didnt have a chance. I have had her about 6 months now and she is completely different. Spends her days with free roam of my house and the neighborhood, hangs out with my moms Great Dane and my sisters Pug. Their is only one neighborhood dog she just can't seem to get along with....

They make good pets because they have a great personality mixed with loyalty, aggression, protectivenss, compassion, and playfulness.
