Part number for RPD?
#2
pretty sure its this:
25784528
list price: 335.28
There is a specific dashboard wiring harness that costs $371 (25947708)
To connect otherwise you need in ports:
A. HS GMLAN (+) 2500
B. HS GMLAN (-) 2501
C. Illum. 339 [from BCM port J4-F6]
D. Batt 1440 [from BCM port J4-C1]
E. HS GMLAN (+) 2500 [to BCM port J2-2]
F. HS GMLAN (-) 2501 [to BCM port J2-20]
G. empty
H. ground 651 [IP ground]
Might be able to get it to work if you route off of the ports going into the BCM (splice into or route around)
Not sure what is the mating connector though. Not sure how to find out what that is, but once you find it you need to get the mating connector and the terminals that fit into it, then wire it all up. I will say good luck to anyone doing this, I'm not going to bother since I don't feel comfortable splicing into GMLAN wires.

No one has the diagram? I just need the pin out.
That would make it 400 bucks and some wire

Alright guys, here is all the wiring to do it, all the wires already exist in the 08 model from what I see. It looks like for the power/ign you want to run in parallel to the existing wires. For the Data it seems like they splice into the connection (series connection). The ground is just a ground.
If you find the right dealership that gives you a deal on parts the RPD [P/N: 25784528] should only be $200. (Thats right around employee price)

Alright, I did some more thinking:
15317575 is the female DLC (OBD2) connector
12110256 is listed as the mating male DLC connector, but thats a huge beast that I can't find
12110252 is another male DLC OBD2 connector and I'm not sure why that isn't listed as a mate to the 7575, I thought all OBD2s were standard. It is listed as a mate to another delphi female DLC (which listed both 252 and 256 as connectors that work)
These can all be found @ http://connectors.delphi.com since they are all delphi connectors.
My thought is: a male DLC connector with 2 wires coming out of the GMLAN (+) and 2 out of the GMLAN (-) plugged into the correct spots on the RPD connector. Then a cigarette lighter power source should supply the other 3 wires (power/switch/ground) for the RPD. Thats 7 out of 7 required there, no splicing of wires required. I'm not sure if it would actually work, it really depends on how the GMLAN interfaces w/ the RPD.

I have been reading these types of diagrams for a very long time & it just take some critical thinking and if I can find the molex connectors or buy molex connectors my self from gm or another retrofit source ...I could make the connectors my self and sell them for 200 Ofcourse Ill make anyone a connector- for cost of shipping & materials if they help would think it would be around 60$ for a home made version but i'll give you the plans too .. Come on dudes work on this so we don't have to spend 400 bones on the crap.

Depends on how people want to do it. If it works, with the DLC + cigarette lighter way there is no way the wiring would cost $200.
But if you also noticed I included a link to mouser.com which sells Delphi connectors and all the connectors are Delphi, not molex
BTW, how much did you pay for the RPD?
