Hey, as you can see I am new here. I am looking at purchasing an 09 SS Turbo Sedan later this week and was wondering what are some of the biggest things I should look for before I hand over my dollars. I'll throw the Craigslist link here just so you guys have an idea of what I am working with. At that 60K mark what work should be done on the car to make sure it doesn't go 'splode on me.

09 Cobalt SS Sedan Turbo OBO *RARE* FAST*

The car is supposedly tuned right now on 93 pump gas but also was running E85 at one point. I have all types of questions on hptuners but that will come later on. Or if someone could give me a quick run down that would be great.

Pretty car savvy over here but this would be my first Cobalt SS so I would love to know what I need to look for before heading out to look at the car.

Since he's a member, you could probably go through all his posts and see if hes had any issues and if they were resolved or he's ignoring them lol.

Id ask him if he has the Opel injectors since hes gone the Ethanol route. I believe the oem injectors are not ethanol safe.

4 door sedans are rare so hes not wrong there. ask me how I know :P. Since someone pointed out his add on here, Id ask him if he would take $9300 for it instead of the craigslist ad #.


His post history will give you a story Im sure unless he never posts. Anyway those are my suggestions. See if his signature in his posts have all the mods listed and anything you didnt know of.

Looks like he did upgrade the injector seals. So your covered there. Or was at least aware that they need to be upgraded.
