mine does the same crap. I'm changing some parts soon, when they come, think I got a vac leak somewhere. or bad tb. Iv been trying to figure this out for years now lol nothing seems to help. but its usually in inconsistent weather in fall and spring.

Could this be a map or maf sensor that it got worse over time?

My car is doing the same exact thing. Probably have a boost leak somewhere. I will inspect for boost leaks tomorrow and report back.

Ya weather it was coincidence or I had 2 different problems, I'm not sure. But I'm pretty sure I got a cracked ringland

Oh geez. I pray that isn't my problem. All mine does is on cold starts - it starts good, idles at like 1400 for like three seconds, then jumps way down to like 400-500 rpm and wants to stall, then I blip the throttle and it fixes that, but then when idling after that, the rpms fluctuate between 800-1000, but all is normal once the coolant reaches about 110-120 degrees.
