hey guys im newer to the cobalt scene. I used to own a 2006 ss/sc hence the name. so i bought a 2008 cobalt ss stock with 37k miles i paid more then average (11k) but its a low mileage and unmolested car beside the evo front bumper paint mod. I bought a k&n typoon for it used got it for 120 in great shape. Tonight i also just order a catless zzp down pipe and the gm stage 1 map sensors and also about to order hp tuners for it and have a fellow forums member tune it for me.

thanks zeeky420. i do have emission but im going to put down i garage my car in a county that doesn't require them aka prince gorges county! Thats how you get around it. Just ordered hp tuners too. Should be here on wednesday two day shipping i love amazon.

 

Ya I did that on my 07 cobalt and you should sell me 2 credits so the tuner can do my car to I'm just about to order my charge pipes now

sweet i like the black! how many miles? Which down pipe is on backorder i just check and when i ordered they had them all in stock. im going up to Baltimore on wednesday or thursday to buy a brand new high rise for $80 still in the box just not the right color but i will get it repainted.

Right now I think 54, XXX and I was looking at zzp I emailed them to check I'll find out tomorrow on that and get it ordered then all I have left is turbo. Kmo will I get same power levels with 256et?

no we havent. i just got my car last monday. and i waiting on the title so i can register it i should have the title this friday. plus i think his car has alot more done and gm stage 1 on it. my car is 100% stock performance wise.

once i get all the bolt ons done. im thinking of doing the k04r or k04+ what ever it is called done to it but im not sure due to the fact this will be my daily driver and i dont want to lose to much reliability even thought i do have truck i can drive.

 

Mine don't have alot done but I had it dynoed at 310hp and 344tq in maryland. From what I can tell so far zzp Intercooler 3 bar sensors and modified stock air box. I'm getting charge pipes downpipe and zfr or a 256et kmo said about 400-420 last time we talked

 

People on here say that they daily drive 7163 zfr all the time

Ya I remember you and Ya I also deal with a lot of ppl but I keep a lot of PMs and stuff so I can go back and look it up.

I have a 7163 and it's actually bigger than the 256. I recommend from small to big the 6758, 7163 then the 257. I actually did my 2nd wot log and am only 0.022 slower than Justins 257 on E47 with 4.45s

 

And I do mine and plan on doing that I wanted to stop at 400-450 and then work on another engine(LDK)

Ya I wanted to get 7163 but if I can save a 1k on 256et and have same power levels I might go that route. Do you have any extra good turbos laying around
