SS/TC Sedan??

lol exactly.
even if we dont have respect, my vision of GM performance vehicals doesnt include sedans in that mix especially if they have a coupe version out with the same stuff.
like the G8 i can understand. no coupe model so a sedan powerful machine is ok to me.
same with SRT4 neon
same with WRX
same with EVO
same with mazdaspeed3
acura's RSX type S was ONLY a coupe option
and Honda civic's Si is like the Cobalt Sport so that doesnt count
all the sedan lovers i can apreciate ur passion for speed with 4 doors, im just biased towards 2 door coupes but everyone has their opinions.
AGAIN, if u want something with 4 doors and powerful, GO BUY AN HHR SS TURBO
at least BMW figured it out to call the coupes and sedans different names like M3 and M5

i think somehow he meant to say the hhr ss is the same exact thing as a cobalt ss 4 door tc, so if you want 4 doors( for cargo, passengers) get the HHR because it has TONS more room than a balt..they're cramped.
Finally though..a 4 door to compete with the other turbo 4 doors haha.

i think you young studs don't know what your talking about. First of all Dodge stop making the srt-4 so its a great opportunity to market the sedan with turbo, and with it hooked up with the 5-speed auto would make it even better. (hence the 5-speed auto in the solctise and sky).

i own an SS coupe and i will be trading it in for an SS/tc coupe. i have no need for the extra space a sedan provides but if it was to have a rear like posted above (coupe rear end) and a low pro spoiler (high deck would look rediculous) then it would look more reasonable as a sporty sedan. the srt4 neon looks real beefy compared to the base neons and the additional appearance mods makes a huge difference in its success. i bet half the srt4 owners never would touch one if the looked like the boring base models. having the sporty performance definitly helps the sales of a sedan but if it looks like my granny would drive it the sales wouldn't be nearly as high as if it looked like a roid raged sedan.

The two door RSX was replaced by the four door TSX since the coupe only RSX wasn't selling enough models to justify its existence (after it replaced the more popular two and four door Integra). Acura also didn't care for the image the RSX gave the brand.
The BMW M5 is four door only - since the 5 series is four door only.
The M3 comes in both 2 and 4 door versions.
There are far more performance sedans on the market than coupes nowadays.
Almost everyone's biased toward two door coupes when they're young. But sometimes you have to be more practical. I have a coupe right now, but I also have two kids. I prefer coupes, too, but probably will get a 4 door for my next car.
And maybe some people don't want the wagon look of the HHR?

I am extremely excited that they are offering the TC in a sedan. I have a kid on the way, so if I were to trade in my SS coupe (which I am seriously considering), I would prefer a sedan. I do hope they gice it a facelift though; the current sedan is practical but not sexy. An auto trans would be a must though as my wife doesnt drive manual and I sure as hell aint teachin' her in a new SS.
WISH LIST:
TC Sedan w/ refreshed rear end
Auto trans
Price tag @ $25,000 or less
Oh, and as far as the no respect for the Cobalt comment, I unfortunately have to agree with you guys. A manufacturer can build the biggest, baddest, best-designed car in the world sedan or otherwise, but if you stick a big-mouthed, zit-faced kid in it. . . it's gonna look bad.
