I have an old log from last year when I did a top speed run, got to 157 and noticed my ECT was 238*F and climbing. Head gasket went bye bye lol. Needless to say, up til that point it was still pulling decently

Also......I think the size of your spoiler is a factor in top speed as well. The HiRise spoiler creates enough drag to effect the top speed .....there was a magazine test awhile ago that showed down force in LBS at different speeds .... and that it effected the top speed runs they were conducting ...... I'll try and find it.

on the stock lsj trans with enough room and power you will hit 188 and go no more. idk how much the lnf trans differ but dont you guys have a higher final drive. so wouldnt the stock trans on the lnf be a few mph's lower vs the lsj? idk but i did take the gear numbers from the lsj combined with the stock tire size etc.. and calculated 188. correct me if im wrong. this was 2 years ago. but i def did 1st-5th gear calculations and came up with 188. i myself have only seen 160 going down to wildwood, nj. aka childwood
