Looks alright besides the tail lights.

Worth taking a look.

Looks good and the price seems fair. Seems like you will need new headlights

😁 I feel picky at this point. And I have seen the numbers of production of the colors of SS cobalts. But I would love a blue or red one. Still may go take a look though !

Now there is another one near me. But it has a rebuilt title. The guy claims it was hit from the front. And the bumper was replaced. He took the bumper off to check for bends/welds. And nothing was found I guess. Have a hard time believing just the bumper totaled the car. I wouldn't be against getting one that was rebuilt. But I just would need to be very catious. Here it is.

Rebuilt can be tricky.

It doesn't take much to write off a Cobalt so damage could actually be minor. Could also be bigger damage who knows.

Link isn't working for me. If it was hit in the front and they totaled it, I wonder if they replaced all the air bags, as they probably blew. I would never trust a rebuild unless I knew exactly what damage had been done and what had been fixed.

Its a more reasonable price, offer him $7,500 to start and see what happens

Front impact is better than rear.

You've got adjustment for alignment. In the rear the margin for error is way smaller.

I've done body integrity's for out body shop and Cobalt's are built so poorly. Even from factory they're not square all the time.

I guess it all depends on the car we are talking about and the impact itself. But I see your point

No in pretty much all cases front end damage is better. Front ends do a better job absorbing impact without it traveling throughout the whole chassis. Resulting in less indirect damage.

Plus removing and replacing front rails is easier than anything in the rear which ties more components together.

I'd buy the first one I don't know why but the silver ones look so good in person to me and looks more maintained and I think that guy had his car up here for 10k just offer a little less for vehicle and go with it good luck

Another quick question. May be stupid. But I don't know the answer. Is it easy to add a wing on the first car I mentioned because it didn't have one. Say it was already painted and what not. How does installing that kind of thing work. 😁 thanks !

Considering the porous block issue I would go with the first one, But both seem sketchy.

Rebuilds are rarely done properly, Even shops will cut corners so I would avoid the rebuild, Just my 2 cents.

It seems like he did put some money into it, But a cheap ricey mod like spray painted taillight bothers me. So just be careful when looking it over.
