tried finding a how-to, to replace this on a LNF cant find one =[ anyone know where i can find one with pictures? idk if i can even do this and a shop wants $230

Pay them the $230. Usually, it's in the 500's. The problem is, when you pull out the old chain tensioner, the timing chain slacks, and down at the crank gear, the chain falls out of the teeth. When you put the new tensioner in and set it, it will re-tension the chain, but the part of the chain down at the crank sprocket might move a tooth over. The only way to tell if the chain is truly back where you started, is to remove the valve cover and front cover. That's a lot of work. If someone is willing to do it for $230................give it to him.
